Brian Bates Dallas Concert reviews
good, not great
Micah Tyler and Brian Bates were a real highlight for us, although Crowder didn't quite connect with the audience. Their rock and roll style clashed with the worshipful vibe of Brian Bates. We believe there's a place for Crowder, just not at a Brian Bates concert. The World Hunger message, while commendable, overshadowed the event for too long.
The new design of the video action during some of the songs really caught my attention, but the acoustic portion with just the guys and the music was equally enjoyable. It's the authentic, stripped-back performance that initially attracted us, not the flashy elements.
We faced a seating issue as we purposely chose front-row seats to have an unobstructed view. Unfortunately, three large women in front of us blocked our sightline when they stood up. Despite our request for a seat swap being declined, the arena staff came to our rescue and found us a better spot where we could still enjoy the show comfortably.
